Inaccessibility

Introduction
Inaccessibility is one of the main problems why children cannot go to school. What inaccessibility is, is when children have to walk very far distances just to go to school.. And sometimes they have to go through different environment's just to go to school. Like some kids had to climb vines to get to school to not risk being late. That's why we think that inaccessibility to education is one of the most crucial things to stop/help in terms of education. Children have to go through rains, heat, floods etc. Just to get to school.... Imagine what kids are going through. So we want to stop this because this is hindering children from getting motivated to go to school. And they can't learn if they are tired when they reach school... So they don't learn anything and they.... DROP OUT!

WHAT WE LEARNED
We learned that some people actually like walking to school because they say that it is a habit and it is fun walking.. They say its exercise! But also some people also don't like walking very far just to go to school. So there are a lot of different perspectives on this issue. But for some people it is not a issue, it is fun. What some children are scared of while walking is if its starts to rain or if they are going to get hit by a car. Those are the main reasons why children don't like walking to school.
CAUSES
There are many factors that affect accessibility to education. Here are the following causes we found out during our research:
- Geographical location
- Culture/beliefs
- Lack of parental support
- Lack of transportation
- Low amount of income
- Lack of motivation
- Unqualified facilities
IMPACTS
There are many impacts because of inaccessibility. Here are the following impacts we found out during our discussions:
- Lack of basic knowledge and skills
- No knowledge of right or wrong decisions
- Leads to bad decisions in life
- Lose countless opportunities to a better life
- Ends up unemployed
- Leads to depression
- Can lead to suicide
- The same process can happen to their children and descendants in the generational cycle
Actions taken to solve inaccessibility (Children)
The solutions taken to solve this from the children's opinion are:
- Waking up early
- Moving fast
- Preparing early
- Use of transportation
- Use of service
Actions taken to solve inaccessibility (Parents and Teachers)
The actions taken to solve this by the teachers and parents are:
- Giving food
- Good teaching
- Kind teachers
- Good school
- They want to learn
Actions taken to solve inaccessibility (NGOs and Government)
The actions taken to solve this by NGO's and the government are
- Building schools nearer to rural areas
- Repairing schools
- Private-Public partnerships
- Building schools where it is equally accessible to regions around it
